The Common Ground is a 100% volunteer-led production dedicated to elevating the voices of women and marginalized artists in London, Ontario We believe in building a sanctuary where art and advocacy meet (and raising a LOT of money at the same time!)
In March 2027, we are opening up a theatrical space designed to elevate 20 multidisciplinary acts through dance, poetry, music, and performance art.
Born from an idea between friends and a commitment to radical inclusion + community care, our show centers the voices of survivors and marginalized artists, proving that art is not just an expression, but a form of resistance.
More than a performance, this is an educational and connective gathering with the intention of uplifting and informing our audience. Our show highlights how we as women have more in common than we realize through the use of art and collaboration. Let's burn down the patriarchy together and grow something new in its place.

The Common Ground is a 19+ event.
Our stage is a sanctuary for authentic storytelling, which may include adult themes, mature language, and provocative performance art.
We operate with a mandate of Radical Inclusion. This glade is a safe and celebratory space for sex workers, 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, and all marginalized identities.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or discrimination of any kind. By entering this space—whether as a performer, volunteer, or guest—you agree to uphold these values of dignity, safety, and mutual respect.
100% of our proceeds are split between anova and the Canadian Women’s Foundation, funding crisis response and systemic change for women across Canada.

Make a direct impact. Your donations fund our Barrier-Removal Initiatives including Performer Stipends (for transportation, childcare), Community Seats and other care costs. 100% of the funds raised from our show go directly to our beloved charities.

Our "Caretakers" are the local grassroots organizations and advocacy groups that provide the foundation for our community. We are offering complimentary lobby space for intersectional nonprofits to share resources, engage with our guests, and be part of our "Booth Passport" experience. Let’s work together to nurture our shared roots.
